Business success is as much about whom you know and how you connect with them, as what you know and how they respond. It’s also about knowing the people you are doing business with. That is why in 2013 we launched our monthly Business Solutions Network (BSN), so that our network of clients, referrers and contacts could have a place to meet and convert online connections into physical ones. We’ve been connecting people ever since. But it’s not just enough to turn up. Here are some top tips to get more out of your networking.

Thinking proactively is paramount and we encourage everyone who attends our or any business network event, to plan ahead, look at the guest list and form a
strategy. Here are our four key planning points:

1- Networking etiquette – mind your social manners, keep intros short and clear
2- Marketing presentation – be ready with your business card or e-CV
3- Follow Up, Follow Up, Follow Up. A 1-2-1 is where the business gets done
4- 360  Vision – keeping an eye|ear out for your connections
